Yesterday our P6/7 Lego Team were incredibly lucky to take part in The First Lego League Competition!π€©π¨π»
With weeks of preparation, the boys and girls were ready to take on the challenge of completing missions with the robot they built and programmed!π·πΌππ» With use of team work, communication and determination, they achieved a score of 135 points!πͺπ»βοΈAn outstanding score considering they were the youngest group competing!π€π€©
The boys took on the responsibility of operating the robot, meanwhile the girls presented a very impressive stop motion animation they created!ππ€
The animation starred a young girl “Ashley”, that was a talented dancer, however, she struggled to share her talents as she was shy. With the help of technology, using her boom box, it gave her the confidence to preform for others!πͺπ»β€οΈ
The judges were so impressed by their animation that it will be shared amongst the W5 Team within their Animation Department!ππ
On Thursday morning, the children will present their work to each class to share their experience and encourage others to take part in this amazing competition!ππ»π£
A big well done to the P6/7s that took part, we are very very proud!βοΈβ€οΈ
